After a particularly terrible experience with a certain platform, I reached out to their customer care team to no avail. I waited for changes that never came. Eventually, I decided to create a solution myself because there’s never a wrong time to do the right thing,” she explained.
The Drop app is built with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and reliability, addressing common pain points faced by both riders and drivers. Oladeinde emphasized that Drop’s processes are designed to minimize driver manipulations, automate operations, and ensure a seamless experience for all users.

A standout feature of the Drop Innovations initiative is its plan to collaborate with financial partners and car dealerships to provide vehicles for qualified drivers through flexible financing arrangements. Drivers will have up to five years to complete payment for these vehicles, helping to reduce vehicle breakdowns and improve service delivery.
Oladeinde also assured that the company would implement rigorous vetting procedures for drivers. “Our driver verification process will be as thorough as the banking sector’s Know-Your-Customer protocols. This includes updated biometrics and advanced security measures to ensure the safety and comfort of our riders,” she said.
Scaling Operations with a Clear Vision
Drop Innovations is set to begin operations with an impressive fleet of 1,000 vehicles in Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja within its first six months. The company is also open to forming strategic partnerships in the future to further expand its reach and capabilities. Currently self-funded, Oladeinde hinted at plans to engage with potential investors and collaborators to enhance the platform’s offerings and support drivers.
